I used to embark on those little wanderings when I was still living in Singapore. The wonderful thing about living there is that it was safe enough to get lost in your thoughts without worrying about someone trying to pick at the contents of your back or even run you over. (Not to say that you can't get run over or pick-pocketed over there, but the feeling I got there was safe and that there were laws to protect people from that type of incident.) Where I am now, I have only done so when taking a stroll in the mall during weekdays after work, and even then, there's always an eye on my belongings. =P

Lovely post you did. =)

(Sorry about the double posting. I think my internet went a little crazy for a moment there.)

We don't have anything like etiquette classes in the USA. I don't fully understand how hard it is to ask for a job, either go to a manager in a store, or call a place of business where you are thinking of working and ask them if they are hiring and if so either fill out an application, or send a resumee, whichever the case may be. Is it different over there?

Haha, really random! Sometimes I find my train of thoughts wandering all over the place with no definite end point - usually they're broken by a rude nudge from a friend or a change of a song on my iPod into a tune that I dread.

And to make things worse, I constantly find myself talking to myself - whether is it in the bathroom mirror in the morning, alone eating in the canteen or on the bus. I just couldn't help it.

Anyway, I stumbled upon your blog after visiting my older blog archives when you left a comment on a post.

Happy belated 2010!

Aha, a fellow wanderer! I do this often, both in my own thoughts and in conversation. Many people just can't keep up. Clearly that's down to them, not me.... ;)
